The Outback Lodge is located in Clinton County; the geographic center
of Pennsylvania.  Over 874 square miles of the county is covered with
state forest and game lands.
Outdoor activities in this region are endless.  Hunt, fish, ice skate, snow
mobile, cross country ski, hang glide, hike, nature photography and
numerous other activities with over five state parks to choose from.

You can venture into one of the small mountain towns such as Lock Haven,
Mill Hall or Renovo to name a few, for a unique shopping experience. 
From collectibles to handmade craft items that speak of the history and
heritage of the area; quilts, homemade candles, antiques, home
decorations are here for the picking.

If you are an aviation enthusiast, the Piper Aviation Museum is a must see
in Lock Haven.  Visit and explore the early history of William T.
Piper's dream of making flying an everyday experience for this country. 
The museum is located adjacent to the William T. Piper Memorial
Airport, where it operated years ago.

If history is your passion,
stop on in the Heisey Museum, home of the Clinton County Historical
Society in Lock Haven.  Take a walk along the river down the historical
Water Street area of Lock Haven while listening to an audio tour guide.
During the summer months, enjoy live theatre presentations in
Mill Hall at the Millbrook Playhouse.  It is one the country's last barn style theatres.
